I hope this message finds you all happy, healthy and well.  Starting off a new school year brings a great challenge for most of us as we are getting to know new members of our teams and seeing glimpses of what can be possible in the future for our Cross Country and Track & Field athletes and teams.

Earlier this year I mentioned some additions to increasing the value of your memberships.   I have been working with the USTFCCCA and I am excited to say that the IATC has entered a partnership with the USTFCCCA to provide all of our active member schools with an association membership to the USTFCCCA organization.  Each member school will get the quarterly Techniques magazine exclusively for USTFCCCA members and access to all of the benefits the USTFCCCA has to offer on their website.

In addition, we have also added a new partnership with Glazier Clinics.  Each member in good standing with the IATC will receive a school membership that gives them a Track & Field Season Pass.  This will get them access to the Track & Field Clinic in Kansas City and also the online Video Vault.

Our hope is that creating unique partnerships in which our Iowa high school and middle school coaches can gain access to resources like other coaches, video vaults, clinics, literature and the largest coaching membership for colleges in the United States will continue to educate our Iowa coaches and offer the best we can for our student athletes.  These relationships come at a much‐discounted cost to our members and coach’s association and we hope that you take advantage of the resources available to all of you.

Lastly, a look off in the near distant future for the indoor season.  A couple of other items that will be new this year are indoor meets at St. Ambrose University (February 23rd Weekend) and a Championship Style Meet only for Iowa kids at the University of Dubuque (March 24th).  More details to come later this Fall and early Winter.   Best of Luck and Health to all of you and your teams this season,
