The Iowa Association of Track Coaches and the Hall of Fame Committee are proud to present the class of 2018 inductees.

2018 IATC Hall of Fame Inductees

Athlete – Aaron Stockstell, Mid Prairie.  Aaron was a highly decorated track athlete from Mid Prairie Iowa. His marks include: 800M AT Best-1:50.18.  2A state meet record: 1:51.17.  11X state champion: 3X400, 3X 800, 3X medley, 1X200 and 1X 4×4.

Athlete – Blaire and Brooke Dinsdale and Sara Stoakes, North Tama.  This trio of ladies including the Dinsdale twins lit up the track and field community for four years.Between the 3 of them, they led North Tama to 4 straight track state titles, (06-07-08-09), with Stokes winning it by herself, with 40 points in 2009.  Between them they won 28 individual state track titles, 4 state XC titles and 6 Drake Relays titles.  Each of them won 4 events at a single state meet, with Stoakes doing it twice.

Coach – Jim Boughton, Dubuque Sr.  Jim passed away in May of 2010 at the age of 56, after a 6 month battle with cancer. During his tenure as coache he coached 3 state XC team champions, 4 state XC team runner-up and 3 state XC team 3rd places.  Jim also coached 6 individual state XC champions, 3 Drake Relays individual champions, and Rob Brock, Iowa’s only Class 4A, 4X 3200 champion.  Jim was very active in IATC and a longtime Chairman of IATC Academic All State awards.
