Welcome back to all our members. I am ready to watch another great fall of cross country competition. I myself spend my Friday nights on the football field, but my Saturdays are spent watching cross country, high school and college meets.
I would like to thank all those that volunteer their time to help the IATC with the awards, events, website, sales and the information available on the website. We could not do all these things without their help. Special thanks to Todd Peveril for all his hard work he did as the apparel director. We have several positions open and several that will be coming open if you would like to get more involved in the IATC.

- Secretary/Treasurer (December)
- Girls XC All State (Open)
- Girls Track and Field (Open)
- Hall of Fame Banquet Assistant (Open)
Please remember to visit our website frequently to be kept up to date with everything that is going on. This would include those all-important cross country team and individual rankings, news and notes, cross country /track meets needing teams, and important updates on IATC upcoming events. Remember to remind your AD’s for your membership dues.
Our spring meeting attendance was great. I hope this trend will continue. The fall meeting is scheduled for Sunday, November 10th at 9:30 am at Iowa City West High School. I need the help of the 1A-2A coaches. Our representation at the IATC meetings is not very strong. What could I do to bolster our numbers at the meetings?
