IATC Members and XC Head Coaches,
The IATC Board of Directors has been busy this fall trying to plan, coordinate, and vote on upcoming IATC events while navigating the current pandemic that we are experiencing. There are several updates that need to be shared as well as some reminders. Thank you to the 185 schools who have paid for their IATC annual membership!
Varsity XC Rosters & Results/Partnership with Varsity Bound: The IATC is excited to announce its new partnership with Varsity Bound to create a state-wide results webpage. Similar to track & field, cross country will now have a presence on Varsity Bound. These meet results will be linked to the QuikStats website and available in the Varsity Bound app. We are asking all cross country head coaches to please do the following:
– Enter your Varsity Runners (roster import available)
– Enter the meets that you’re hosting
– Throughout the season enter your Varsity runner and marks at each meet
Result Entry Expectation: Our preference is that Individual marks get entered the evening of the meet, but they need to be entered within 24 hours. Marks can be entered from a computer or your phone. You are only responsible for your 7 Varsity runners but may enter more at your discretion.
Sr. All Star XC Meet: Due to multiple factors, the IATC Board of Directors voted to suspend this event for 2020 season. We are hopeful that we are able to hold this event again in 2021.
Washburn Classic State MS XC Meet: The IATC will be holding this event for 7th and 8th grade boys and girls on October 17th at Marshalltown Comm. College. Please click HERE for meet information. Please click HERE to register.
IATC Fall Meeting: The annual IATC Fall Meeting will be held virtually via Zoom on Sunday, November 8th at 10:00am. We will send out a link and other information when the date gets closer.
Championship Productions December Coaches Clinic: Details for this clinic that is typically held the first weekend in December are still being worked out. Look for them to release details in the next couple weeks.
IATO/IATC Hall of Fame Banquet: The annual IATO/IATC Hall of Fame Banquet that is typically held on the Saturday of the December Coach’s Clinic has been suspended for 2020.

- Fall IATC Meeting @ 10am (Will be Held Virtually) November 8th
- Championship Productions TnF/XC Clinic @ Ames December 6th-7th
