Congratulations to athletes achieving the Iowa Senior All-Star Gold Standard. Your coach will receive your email invitation for the Senior All-Star Championship Meet, and the necessary information to complete the online acceptance page. Attention Iowa Senior Track & Field Athletes and Coaches
Iowa’s top senior track & field athletes will compete for North and South Teams, as they duel for bragging rights, in a showdown, along the Lincoln Highway. The senior all-star championship meet will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2021. Iowa City West High School Stadium will be the site for this year’s duel. The dividing line between the North and South Teams will be along a line 12 miles south of Hwy 30. A list of schools and their assigned teams can be found here.
Qualifying athletes will be listed weekly on the IATC website and Facebook page. Each team will be capped with the first 50 athletes accepting their team invitation. Those reaching the qualifying standard first will have first chance at accepting the invitation, and locked into Team Iowa. Invitations will begin on Sunday, April 11th and continue each Sunday throughout the season, concluding on Sunday, May 23rd. Invited Athletes must have their registration completed on the IATC website by Wednesday, May 26th. In a special note to coaches, performances must be posted on Varsity Bound by noon Sunday, to be eligible for invitation that week. Those posted after that time will be eligible for the following Sunday’s qualifying invitation.

New Events for 2021
Athlete feedback from 2019 revealed that competitors really enjoyed relays, so we have added some relays and also turned others into Co-Ed events. The 4×200 and 4×800 will be Co-Ed for 2021 and the meet has added a true DMR (1200-400-800-1600)
The senior all-star meet, has a long held tradition, with NAIA, NCAA, National, World, and Olympic Medalists competing for Team Iowa. As we roll into the start of the outdoor season it’s time for you to shine. It’s your turn to decide which half of the great state of Iowa has the very best track and field athletes. Competing on the same team as the states finest athletes is a great way cap-off your track & field career.
